The 1:5 Project is an ongoing series of adventures for Troika! The Science-Fantasy Roleplaying Game. They are an open-ended series of eminently usable small adventures for Troika! submitted by you and curated by us to highlight the great Troika! writers out there.

The Brief:

☀ It must be a play-tested adventure taking place inside the city of Troika, prioritising interactivity, player agency, danger, and adventure.
☀ The adventure must be location-based, and allow for roughly 1 to 3 sessions of play.
☀ The manuscript should contain no new Backgrounds, and should not be a hack of Troika! into a new game system (though houserules and tweaks are okay).
☀ Hexcrawls, in-city ‘wilderness’ areas, pointcrawls, city-crawls, investigative  mysteries, and dungeons are all encouraged.
☀ The tone should avoid meta, ironic, or excessively conceptual themes and at least 80% of the writing should detail the adventure, NPCs and locations.
☀ To be submitted as a finished first draft between 5000 and 10,000 words, without artwork. Manuscripts skewing closer to 10,000 words interest us the most!
☀ Any accepted manuscripts will be illustrated by one of our in-house artists, Andrew Walter & Shuyi Zhang, and edited and laid out by our design staff.
