GPSR

The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) came into effect on December 13, 2024. Since that date, all consumer products sold within the EU are subject to its regulations.

At Melsonian Arts Council we are committed to ensuring that all products we produce and sell comply with safety requirements. Books and other printed matter are considered to be a low safety risk. As publishers, to comply with GPSR we are required to have an EU authorised representative, for whom contact details must be provided on the book itself or its packaging. At Melsonian Arts Council we are opting to enclose a slip bearing the details of our EU representative within the packaging for orders being shipped to the EU, and not on the item itself.
